Hello. And welcome to my little corner of the InterWeb.

My name is Cathy and I am a freelance photographer based in Sydney, Australia. I have recently returned from London, where I have been living for the past 10 years. Unlike most Aussies living in London, I genuinely loved living there, and considered the UK my home. No-one is more surprised than me by my decision to return to Australia, but hey…here I am.

I have been dabbling in photography for a number of years now, but recently decided that it was time to take it a little bit more seriously. Life’s just too short to not take a calculated risk or two.  Turning a creative endeavour into a functioning business is challenging to say the least, but challenges are good. Challenges help us to keep growing. And if I sometimes want to curl up into a ball and not read another word about marketing or keywording or bookkeeping or networking; well,  i just strive to keep going and work through it. Alternatively, I turn my back on it all for the day, and enjoy a lovely glass of wine.

This website is where you can find all about my photography and projects. I update my blog regularly with a mix of personal and professional work, as well as any other photography-related bits and pieces that take my fancy. I am available for portrait commissions as well as editorial and commercial assignments.
